Jalapeno Steak

I made this into a salad because someone...not naming any names *cough, myself, cough*...forgot to get more broccoli and since we had good produce, I wasn't stocked up on frozen veggies. I also didn't have any rice...so there went my sides for the night. We did have spinach though. We always, always have spinach because all of us love spinach and eat it often. Plus it's a good thing for me to eat with having anemia and all.

The steak was a wonderful combination of spicy, sweet, tangy, and salty. Plus you had the onions too!

  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
Directions:
Place steak into a crockpot.

Mix together sugar, sauces, jalepneo, vinegar, garlic, and cilantro. Pour over top of steak.
