Recently, the idea came to make Thursday our Throwback day for dinner recipes. We do Taco Tuesday, Soup Night on Wednesday, "All American" (pizza or burgers) on Friday...and Nick was like "how about on Thursdays, we eat an old favorite and do Throwback Thursday?" - GENIUS! We don't eat the same recipe very often, so I actually really liked this idea. I don't usually scheduled posts for Thursday, but decided it was also a good idea for the blog to do a "throwback" post.
So today's recipes were posted on June 25th, 2011 and 2012 respectively. I've made the first one more than once, but not the second one. However, I do love both recipes.
Bacon Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a really incredible dish. It has bacon, ham, chicken, asparagus, tomatoes, and more. It's filling and flavorful. It's the ultimate alfredo recipe!
This Spicy Jack Bacon Jalapeno Cheeseburgers recipe was made during my first year in the Secret Recipe Club. At that point, I still wasn't hugely into spicy foods and had a low tolerance, which really cracks me up, especially after yesterday's recipe :) I've come a long way!
