Throwback Thursday #17

Throwback Thursday No. | Rediscovering Old Favorites in the Recipe Archive

Today's edition of Throwback Thursday features recipes from my two favorite ladies: my mom and my mom-in-law!! And they are probably my two favorite recipes of theirs that they graciously shared with me.

Up first is something that my mom made so many times during my childhood: CARMEL ROLLS. They never got to cool down because my brother and I would eat them fresh from the oven and had no self control to stop at one or two...because they are THAT good. I've made them for my kids and for my in laws and again...they've never cooled. I definitely need to get a new picture of these because they look way better than that. LOL

The other recipe is a big deal in my husband's family: CINCINNATI CHILI. My husband and his family hail from Ohio (before moving to Tennessee) and lived in Cincinnati for some time. In April, I was able to have my first authentic Skyline. However, I will say this...this recipe is better. It tastes like the real thing..sure, but it's better. :) We actually had this last weekend for family dinner. So it's fresh in my mind.
