What you need:
- 1 pkg. shells and cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup crushed tortillas chips
- Cook pasta according to directions and drain. Add cheese from box and sour cream; stir well.
- While pasta is cooking, brown meat and drain. Add taco mix and water; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spoon half pasta into a 8-inch square baking dish.
- Top with meat mixture and half of cheese.
- Then top with rest of pasta mixture.
- Cover and bake at 400* for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with salsa, remaining cheese, and chips.
- Bake, uncovered, for another 5 minutes.
