How are you feeling? I'm starting to get a little antsy and a little nervous. The what-if's kill me. And for some reason any pain or weird feeling freaks me out. I think partly because I was in the hospital overnight with Matthew at 33 weeks and almost stayed overnight with Cami at 34 weeks. I didn't have either of them until 40 weeks, but still. Freaks me out.
How big is baby? 4 3/4 lbs and 18 inches long. My app says he is gaining some chub to help regulate his temp after birth.
How are you sleeping? I'm still sleeping pretty well. I've had a bit of an eczema flareup with the cold weather that showed up, but it's coming down now. I have gotten rid of the "leg pillow". I typically sleep from midnight to 6:30am and then get up to hang out with the kids, get them breakfast, and take them to school. By 7:30am, I am back home and try to stay up for about an hour before going back to bed. Yesterday, I read in bed for a little bit and wasn't that tired, so I got back up and I totally paid for it. I had the worst headache by lunch and it didn't go away with coffee, water, or food. Mentally, I was so out of it all day long...so definitely going to keep the morning "nap" in the schedule.
Food cravings/aversions? Still not feeling chicken. Add spaghetti/pizza sauce to that. Craving sweets, but not like candy/cupcakes, more like fruit and cheese type sweets like cheesecake and danishes. I'm craving the crap out of some cheese danish. That has been a very big thing this whole pregnancy.
Any milestones/other thoughts? We got the dresser and crib set up over the last two weeks. The baby clothes are all washed. The bottles (4 oz) are washed and in the cabinet. The playyard/bassinet is in our bedroom with all the stuff I need right away and all the stuff I will take with me to the hospital. I got a new edition of my favorite favorite favorite baby book, Baby 411, and I'm hoping to read through that over the next few weeks and get reacquainted with the baby stage.
I am feeling crazy excited too. I'm in the homestretch now. His chances of survival outside the womb are increasing by the day even though I'm not full term and I'm only 4 weeks away from being full term. When did that happen?! I cannot wait to hold him and see him. I'm so excited to be able to have a teeny tiny baby again. I get soooo soooo emotional when I look through pictures of the kids when they were teeny. :)
