Bread Bowls // These easy edible bowls will make your soup night memorable to everyone! #recipe #bread

These were so incredibly delicious! I was eating the bowls while I waited for my soup to finish because I could not keep my hands off of them. I am so glad that I was brave enough to try them out because they really aren't super hard or take a lot of expertise to make.

What you need:
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
Directions:
  1. Dissolve yeast in water in large mixing bowls.
  2. Add sugar, oil, salt and 1 1/2 cups flour. Mix.
  3. Gradually add in more flour until ball forms.
  4. Turn out on a floured surface, cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425.
  6. Roll ball out into 4 even circles. Grease 4 small oven safe bowls and place upside down on a baking sheet. Drape dough circles over bowls. You may have to work with it to get to fit right on the bowl.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Carefully remove from sheet and pry out bowl to place on wire racks to cool.
Recipe from Bowl of Cherrys

What goes better with bread bowls than a good soup recipe? Cheddar Broccoli Soup is my family's all-time favorite soup and goes well in these bread bowls. Another recipe for bread bowls that is on my radar is this recipe for Garlic Bread Bowls from A Princess and Her Pirates.
