I have always looked at cheeseballs in a turned-up-nose fashion. I've started to open my mind to more foods lately and figured I need to join in the cheeseball lover's club. I started off with my tippy toes in the water here though. I honestly don't think there is anything in the world that has both butter and cookie dough in it that I wouldn't eat.
I mixed this together and my cookie dough was still a little firm, so I had it sit for a little longer. While it sat, I tried not to consume the whole bowl full. I gave my husband (the dessert hater - well, he doesn't hate desserts, he just claims to not be "big" on them) a small taste, which then in turn he took my mixing spoon and ate a huge glob of it. I then had to hover over the bowl like a vulture, trying to protect the rest of my precious unfinished dessert. I hope some of y'all can make this soon and agree that it has to be the best cheeseball in the history of cheeseballs.

What you need:
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 roll chocolate chip cookie dough
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- Nilla wafers, for serving
- Place cream cheese, butter, and cookie dough out and bring to room temp. ::DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WARM UP:: Just let them come to room temp on their own.
- Mix together the cream cheese, butter, and cookie dough. Form into a ball with your hands.
- Roll ball in chopped pecans and use your hands to pat in excess pecans to cover any open doughy spots.
- Store in refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with vanilla wafers!
