Six ingredients for this yummy dish that takes less than 30 minutes to make!
Ah, spaghetti, my old friend. I was, of course, looking forward to making this recipe because not only does it contain spaghetti, but also kale. I could eat kale with my spaghetti every day. I was intrigued how the six ingredients would work together and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy the dish was despite the simplicity of the ingredients.

What you need:
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 1 lb. hot Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 large bunch kale, trimmed and chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- Cook spaghetti according to box directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown and crumble sausage over medium heat.
- Add water and cream. Let simmer until reduced by half, about 5 minutes.
- Add kale and stir gently until wilted.
- Add pasta and toss to combine.
- Serve topped with Parmesan.
I have made tons of red sauce recipes to try and make the perfect spaghetti sauce. I really love this Ree's Spaghetti recipe. This recipe for Garlic Parmesan Kale Pasta from Budget Bytes is similar to this one, but I still really would love to make it.
