Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

This classic appetizer is easy peasy with only four ingredients!

I don't remember when I came across this recipe but I was so excited because it had been so long since I had had this little appetizer. I remembered them fondly from my childhood. I feel like they were a staple at every holiday. I didn't realize they were made with pancake mix nor did I realize they were made with only four ingredients!

What you need:
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick or pancake mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
  1. Mix together all ingredients and roll into 1-inch balls.
  2. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until browned.
Recipe from Plain Chicken

If you're looking for a saucy meatball, I recommend these sweet and spicy Chipotle Peach Meatballs. With the holidays around the corner, these Cranberry BBQ Crockpot Meatballs from The Chunky Chef are fitting AND easy to make and have ready to feed a crowd.
