There's a little bit of everything from the barn on this burger!
I'm so late to posting today and I apologize. I've been participating in a readathon (I'm a huge bookworm) and instead of blogging, I've been reading. A lot. I just finished my 3rd book for the past 5 days. Today's recipe is awesome. This burger takes a little bit of everything on the farm and sticks it on a hamburger bun. You have a little cow, pig, and chicken (egg) in there. I noted how it could also be made to include lamb and goat. At the time, I had no clue we even had lamb at the local grocery store. I love a burger with a fried egg and bacon, so I absolutely loved this one!

What you need:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- Salt and pepper
- Sliced cheddar cheese
- Romaine lettuce leaves
- Tomato, sliced
- 8 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked
- 4 fried eggs
- Mayonnaise
- Hamburger buns
- Divide ground beef into four patties and flatten a little large than the bun size.
- Cook over medium high heat in a skillet or on the grill. Flip once and add cheddar cheese while the other side cooks.
- Assemble by slathering mayo on the bottom bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, burger, fried egg, and 2 strips of bacon.
I recently posted this In-and-Out Double Double Copycat recipe and it's a great burger - loads of onion! I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to eat these Juicy Lucy Burgers from The Hungry Bluebird...right now!
