Cheesesteaks have never tasted so good!
Mississippi Pot Roast is a recipe that has definitely secured its place in a little viral recipe history. It is everywhere I go and there is absolutely a reason for that: it is THE best pot roast ever. We refer to it as "THE pot roast" now because it's pretty much the only one I make. I saw someone post on reddit that they had turned THE pot roast into cheesesteaks and decided that we definitely had to do that too. It's a wonderful way to enjoy the buttery, spicy roast!

What you need:
- A 3 to 5 lb. chuck roast
- Salt and pepper
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 stick salted butter
- 2 jars (12-16 oz.) sliced pepperoncinis (drain most of the juices)
- Provolone cheese slices
- Hoagie rolls
- Season roast with salt and pepper and place in crockpot. Optional: sear in a hot skillet before placing in crockpot.
- Pour ranch mix and dry onion mix over the top.
- Top with stick of butter and 1 jar pepperoncinis.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove from crockpot and shred.
- Top open hoagie rolls with roast, provolone cheese, and additional sliced pepperonicinis.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Completely unrelated but another one of my favorite sandwiches is this Pork Schnitzel Sandwich. It definitely fancies up schnitzel and I love it. If you have any leftover roast (which is highly unlikely), this Beef and Noodles with Mississippi Pot Roast from Belle of the Kitchen looks amazing!
