Nutella Swirl Danish Ring

It's oh so amazing what you can do with refrigerated crescent rolls, like this incredible Nutella danish!

I feel like I've made a few recipes with refrigerated crescents to make danishes and I haven't had much luck with them turning out. I didn't have high expectations going in and once again, low expectations for the win because I was blown away with how delicious this simple recipe was. It wasn't super hard to make and it turns out looking so pretty and fancy. And like you slaved over for so long. Definitely all wins in my book - easy to make, looks great, tastes even better!

Pumpkin Cheese Danish

What a wonderful pastry to enjoy with a cup of coffee on a fall morning!

When I was pregnant with Mason, I found this amazing danish-style coffee cake that I could eat by myself in like two sittings. It was pumpkin and it was glorious. Since that fall, I have not been able to find it again. I haven't given up hope, but I have definitely tried my hardest to make as many pumpkin danish-like things as possible to make up for that. These are super easy to make and they are so very delicious.

Pumpkin Spiced Cream Cheese Rolls #SundaySupper

These mini rolls have a pumpkin cream cheese filling and are topped with a decadent cream cheese frosting

Today's Sunday Supper event has me squealing with joy because it's SIMPLE PUMPKIN RECIPES. This time of year is my favorite because it's acceptable once again to love pumpkin - even though I love it all year round. I never stop loving pumpkin. I also love pumpkin spice too - the flavors of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice are so very fall to me. I've wanted to make this recipe from Picky Palate for so long and I finally got around to it to share this morning.

The recipe is very simple and doesn't take a lot of time or ingredients. I actually was able to use a partially used can of pumpkin puree from my fridge, so it worked out really well in my favor. I also added a touch of pumpkin spice on top of these rolls since they only technically contained a little cinnamon and nutmeg. Even though there were two cake pans of little mini rolls - these guys lasted all of one day for us. I kept going back to grab one and seeing fewer and fewer in the pan. Even my husband, the proclaimed "Not a huge sweets fan" was grabbing one or two here and there throughout the day. Definitely a winner in our household!

Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

These cheesecake bars are flaky and sweet with raspberry filling and chocolate on top!

I love when I come across a breakfast recipe like this one that uses crescent rolls. I particularly love sweets made with crescent rolls and raspberry and chocolate are a match made in heaven. So this is seriously a great recipe. It's fairly simple for a breakfast recipe and I appreciate that because I am NOT a morning person. Not one bit. I used the Kroger's Private Selection brand pie filling. I think the quality is a little better than the generic pie filling in a can. I can't recommend this breakfast enough.

Peach Dumplings #SundaySupper

The most magnificent summer treat in a pan - perfect for potlucks or get-togethers!
Peach Dumplings // The most magnificent summer treat in a pan - perfect for potlucks or get-togethers! #recipe #peach #potluck #dessert #SundaySupper

This week's Sunday Supper event is SUMMER'S BEST POTLUCK DISHES and is hosted by T.R. of Gluten Free Crumbly. I made these dumplings last summer for a family grill out (which is like feeding a small army anyways) and thought it would be the perfect recipe to share with y'all today for the summer potluck event.

So it literally could not be written in the stars any clearer than this recipe that Ree Drummond and I should be best friends. I love all of her recipes and she never fails me. However, I decided to switch up her apple dumplings with peaches - and then later noticed the side note where she suggests peach, pear or apricots would work well. I am the worst at actually reading through my cookbooks.

Anyways, I was going through my blog feed and saw Peach Dumplings pop up and noticed they were from Ree and decided it's totally fate that she would post her adaptation so close to when I had planned on posting the adaptation of her original recipe. However, in her adaptation, she used frozen peaches and Sprite, whereas I used fresh peaches and Mountain Dew. I'm definitely taking a page from her book (hah, puns!) and using frozen peaches next time because the fresh peaches were a pain in the backside to deal with.

Ree suggested serving it up with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream. We did cinnamon bun ice cream and I have to say - GO THAT ROUTE!! The whole thing is heaven in your mouth. By far, these dumplings are one of my all-time favorite desserts and recipes!

Chicken Pot Pie Braid

Classic pot pie flavors in braid form - this easy recipe is great for the whole family!
Chicken Pot Pie Braid | Classic pot pie flavors in braid form - this easy recipe is great for the whole family! #recipe #chicken

Today is Mason's first birthday! My littlest is a year old now *sobs* *wails* *weeps* We are celebrating this weekend with family and I'm really excited for it. I really never imagined having a third child after Nick decided it was time to get out of the army, so it's just surreal that our THIRD child is going to be a year old already. If you follow me on instagram, I share pictures of his cuteness every once in a while. :) Anyways...on to today's recipe that happens to be something I've made a few times.

Unfortunately, I got poor pictures of it every single time I made it. I need to make it this summer when I have loads of natural light to take more beautiful pictures. I, for one, don't eat pot pie, BUT Nick and the kids love it. I figured this would be a good compromise because the part of the pie I don't like is the crust. This recipe has no pie crust, but all the deliciousness of the filling.
