S'mores Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

What is heaven? If you were looking for the answer, keep reading!

(Print)
What you need:
  • 2 sticks softened butter (8 oz.)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking sod
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 24 graham cracker quarters
  • 3 Hershey Bars, broke into rows of 3
  • 12 large marshmallows, cut in half

Directions:
*Before I begin, I just referenced the original posting of the recipe and realized that I did half sheets instead of quarters and therefore got less stuffed cookies (only 9 instead of 12) and they were freaking HUGE. Next time I'll have to do it the actual way. :P

Preheat oven to 350 and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda.

Slowly pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

Add chocolate chips.

Make a s'mores assembly line and make your s'mores. A quarter (NOT A HALF) graham cracker with chocolate and 2 marshmallow pieces on top, then top with another quarter.

Add cookie dough on top and on bottom, then spread out. You'll add more to the sides as you go along.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes; in my oven it was around 14.
Let cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
