Cobbler only gets better when you pair peaches with cinnamon rolls.
I love cobbler. It's such a great dessert with a load of wiggle room. You can pair so many different fruits and the cobbler toppings are aplenty. You can have a biscuit-like topping, dumpling-like topping, or in this case, a cinnamon roll topping! It's a super simple dessert to make and honestly, it totally works well for breakfast too. I'm not judging at all.

What you need:
- 1 pkg. frozen peach slices, thawed
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tube refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
- In a medium saucepan over medium low, heat peaches, sugar, flour, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg for about 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Pour peach mixture into a greased 2 1/2 qt. baking dish.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place on top of peaches in baking dish.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil from baking sheet carefully and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes. Peaches should be bubbly and cinnamon rolls should be golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1 Tbsp. heavy cream. Add additional tablespoon of heavy cream, if needed.
- Drizzle over the top of the cobbler and enjoy!
Another one of my favorite desserts is this recipe for Peach Dumplings - it uses refrigerated crescents and is ridiculously delicious. Summer is the perfect time to have s'mores and this S'mores Cobbler from Spicy Southern Kitchen is a great flavor profile for a cobbler, if you ask me.
