I brought it home and had him smell it first. I tried it - and remembered exactly why I loved it. I made him try a piece - even though he looked like I was trying to poison him. I wish I would've taken a picture of his expression after tasting it - he was seriously blown away and wondering why he'd never tried it before. I think it's safe to say it's his new favorite cheese. Gouda is the bacon of cheese. Really.
(Print)
What you need:
- 4 chicken breasts, flattened (I also cut mine in half)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- Bacon
- 3 to 4 oz. gouda cheese
- Combine cayenne, garlic, paprika, and pepper. Season chicken breasts.
- Add a little gouda to each piece of chicken and roll up.
- Wrap in bacon.
- To make them crispy, brown in a skillet on both sides.
- Then bake at 350* for 20 minutes.
