Slow Cooker Shredded BBQ Beef

This beef is rubbed in an amazing spice mix and slow cooked for 8 hours before being cooked in a skillet with barbecue sauce!

I'll admit that as a family, we don't eat a whole lot of barbecue. I think it's really just Cami and I that like barbecue. But neither of us is really like super into barbecue, so it's not something I make a lot. I do get a craving occasionally and that's when I make pulled pork or beef for sandwiches. It's probably my favorite way to have anything barbecue! This recipe in particular has a really great dry spice rub that goes on the meat before it goes in the crockpot and WOW! It really makes the dish something special. Highly recommend!

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika

  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 3 lb. chuck roast

Recipe from Buns In My Oven

I love a good slow cooked barbecue recipe - it's so great when it cooks low and slow, so I love this Smokey BBQ Ribs recipe. I've wanted to try homemade barbecue sauce at some point and this Blackberry Barbecue Sauce from Real Mom Kitchen is definitely high up on my list to try because I think berry and barbecue sounds like the BEST combo!
