If you've ever had and loved this thicker crust (amazing) school pizza as a kid, you need this recipe!

What you need:
For the crust:
- 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup powdered milk
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp. quick rise yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 2/3 cups warm water (110ish degrees)
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
For the sauce:
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
For the toppings:
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper - you will only need it to cover half the sheet. If you spray with nonstick cooking spray first, it will help hold the parchment paper down.
- For the crust: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a measuring glass, combine warm water and oil. Add to large bowl.
- Stir with a wooden spoon until no dry spots remain.
- Spread dough onto pan with fingertips until mostly even. It will take up half the pan. If it's hard to work with, let it rest for 5 minutes and then go again.
- Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated 475 degree oven.
- For the toppings: Meanwhile, brown and crumble the ground beef.
- Mix together all the sauce ingredients - this can be done days before if you like.
- Top crust with sauce, meat, and cheese.
- Bake for 8 to 10 more minutes at 475 degrees.
- Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

I don't really think I've made too many copycat pizza recipes, but I love this Copycat Marion's Pizza - from a pizzeria in Ohio. In my opinion, a copycat pizza deserves a copycat breadstick recipe to go with like these Copycat Pizza Hut Breadsticks from Brown Eyed Baker.
