Classic fudgy brownies with M&Ms and chocolate chips mixed in for extra chocolateness!
This recipe is a very classic brownie recipe with chocolate chips and M&Ms added to it. They are fudgy and perfect with a glass of milk. Can't say much more about it - a solid recipe that is definitely going to be a go-to for me!What you need:
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&Ms, divided
Directions:
- Melt 2 cups chocolate chips with buter in preferred method (saucepan, double boiler, or microwave), whisking until smooth. Remove from heat, if applicable.
- Add sugars and whisk until combined. Then add eggs, one at a time, whisking until just combined.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Add flour and salt and stir until just combined.
- Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup M&Ms.
- Pour into a 9x9-inch baking dish that has been lined with foil and sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Press remaining 1/2 cup M&Ms on top.
- Bake in a preheated 325 degree for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted about 2 inches from the side comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan before cutting into squares.
