Peanut Butter Sweetie Pie

I don't make pie a lot because I'm not a big fan of pie crust. Next time I make this pie, I'm definitely going to use a chocolate graham crust because that sounds like the perfect crust for a pie like this. Not only is there peanut butter in the batter, but you also have peanut butter M&Ms, which are one of my favorites. I go back and forth between peanut butter and plain peanut M&Ms being my favorite. This sweetie pie is like a giant cookie and it's so awesome! :)

What you need:
  • 1 9-inch pie crust (homemade or premade)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter M&Ms
  • 2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Place pie crust in pie pan, if needed.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, peanut butter, and butter. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, M&Ms, and chocolate chips. Stir.
  4. Transfer batter to pie crust and even out the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until firm in the center.

I don't have many pie recipes on the blog, but I adore this Cherry Cream Cheese Pie. And hello, Snickers Bar Pie! This Recipe Girl recipe looks fabulous and adds some caramel to the chocolate and peanut butter combo.
