Hawaiian Steak Kabobs

Teriyaki-marinated steak with sweet bell peppers, red onion, and pineapple grilled to perfection!

This is one of my favorite grill recipes I think I have ever made. I doubled the original recipe if not tripled it because we love kabobs and grilled veggies and pineapple are the best! This was a winner, for sure. It's super simple and easy to make. The worst part is just getting it all on the skewers.

What you need:
  • 1 1/2 lb. top sirloin, cut into large cubes
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki marinade and sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced into large squares
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into large squares
  • 1 small red onion, sliced into large squares
  • 2 lb. pineapple, cubed
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
  1. Place steak in a shallow bowl or zipper baggie. Add marinade and marinate for about 3 1/2 hours in refrigerator.
  2. Place vegetables and into a large bowl and toss with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place beef, vegetables, and pineapple onto skewers. I prefer to do like foods on the same skewer so I can cook everything evenly.
  4. Cook on the grill over medium-high heat, turning occasionally until beef is to desired doneness and veggies are tender.
  5. Optional: baste steak with additional teriyaki marinade.

This Greek Chicken Souvlaki with Lemon Rice is another fantastic kabob recipe for the grill this summer. Highly recommend it! Another Greek recipe for the grill, but this one uses beef is Grilled Greek Beef Kabobs from Cupcakes & Kale Chips - it has beef, bell peppers, onion, but more importantly tzaziki sauce to dip and pita to serve with it.
