The perfect red sauce for pasta night slow cooked in the crockpot all day!
I've been making many homemade red sauces over the past decade, trying to find the best of the best recipes. This is definitely top 3 and is relatively easy to make. I particularly like a lot of Italian seasoning in my red sauce, so I always dump way more than the recipe originally calls for. I loved that this sauce was chunkier rather than saucier.

- Remove bay leaves before serving.
A fantastic quick recipe for meat sauce is this Weeknight Spaghetti Bolognese recipe from Carlsbad Cravings. A recipe that is in the middle time-wise but just as fantastic is this Italian Noodle Casserole.
