Steak and eggs, but not just any steak and eggs - steak drizzled with rosemary butter and eggs that are insanely cheesy!
We don't eat breakfast a lot but we do sometimes eat breakfast for dinner. I knew this recipe would be a hit with the husband because it's steak and basically anytime I make steak, he is a happy camper. For me, the most exciting part of this recipe was the rosemary butter! And yes, I'm aware my steak is well done. I'm still trying to get a handle on being able to consistently cook steak medium rare to medium for Nick - I usually take pictures of his plate when we have steak. I'm a worrywart and like my steak well done. The cheesy eggs were also fantastic. They were perfectly cooked as per the recipe instructions. All-in-all, steak and eggs are a wonderful dinner and would also make a wonderful breakfast if you're a morning person :)

What you need:
For the steak:
- 2 steaks in desired cut
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 - 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
 - 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
 - 2 sprigs rosemary, cut in half

- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
 - Salt
 - 2 cloves minced garlic
 - 3 sprigs rosemary

- 8 large eggs
 - 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- For the steaks: Place steak in a dish or zipper bag. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Sprinkle with liquid smoke and oil. Place rosemary underneath steak and let sit at room temperature for 2 hours, turning halfway through.
 - For the rosemary butter: melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add salt, garlic, and rosemary and cook over low for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Discard rosemary.
 - Grill the steaks to desired doneness and let rest on a plate for 10 minutes tented with foil.
 - For the eggs: Meanwhile, whisk together eggs with a splash of water.
 - Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over low heat. Add eggs and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until almost done but still wet.
 - Remove from heat and add half of the cheese. Salt and pepper to taste and stir until done.
 - Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
 - Slice steak and serve drizzled with rosemary butter and eggs on the side.
