M&M Brownies

Classic fudgy brownies with M&Ms and chocolate chips mixed in for extra chocolateness!

This recipe is a very classic brownie recipe with chocolate chips and M&Ms added to it. They are fudgy and perfect with a glass of milk. Can't say much more about it - a solid recipe that is definitely going to be a go-to for me!

What you need:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&Ms, divided

Directions:

  1. Melt 2 cups chocolate chips with buter in preferred method (saucepan, double boiler, or microwave), whisking until smooth. Remove from heat, if applicable.
  2. Add sugars and whisk until combined. Then add eggs, one at a time, whisking until just combined.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Add flour and salt and stir until just combined.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup M&Ms.
  6. Pour into a 9x9-inch baking dish that has been lined with foil and sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Press remaining 1/2 cup M&Ms on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated 325 degree for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted about 2 inches from the side comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in pan before cutting into squares.
