Oreo Truffles

I seriously have the best friends in the world. Why?
#1: They know how much I love food and give me recipes all the time.
#2: Not only do they give me recipes, but they give me BOMBTASTIC recipes like this one!

(Printable Version)
What you need:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pkg. Oreos
  • 1 pkg. melting chocolate
Directions:
Crush a couple Oreos (maybe 5 or 6) for decorating after coating in chocolate, set aside.

Crush remaining Oreos and mix with cream cheese. I ended up using my hands.

Form into balls and place on a parchment or wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Refrigerate for an hour to firm up some.
Melt your chocolate and dip each ball into it, coating completely.
Place back on cooking sheet and sprinkle with Oreo crumbs.

Refrigerate until ready to serve!

I just pinned this! These sound like cake pops I have made but never with oreos. I bet they are yummy and am adding them to my "to cook" list. Thanks! I am a new follower from Tatertots and Jello. Vicky from www.messforless.net

Yum! Thanks for posting this. My daughter has severe food allergies, but Oreos are something that she CAN have. I can't wait to try these.
