Twix Cookies

I love the candy bars in cookies trend. It's one of my very favorite food trends. The caramel bits inside the cookie are amazing.

What you need:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped Twix bars (3 packages)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325*.
In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl, cream butter and sugars.

Then add egg and yolk and vanilla. Mix until combined.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mix.

Gently stir in Twix bars that have been chopped.
Form dough into balls and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from baking sheet.
