Snickers Cheesecake

I don't think there really is anything I need to say about this cheesecake. It was phenomenal. Just as expected :)

Recipe from My Baking Addiction
What you need:
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs, at room temp
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 20 mini snickers, chopped
  • 1/3 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel syrup
*This cheesecake takes a while to bake and cool, so this would be best made the day before you are wanting to have it.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and spray your springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Stir together graham crackers, melted butter, 3 tbsp. sugar, and salt.

Press into prepared pan and bake for 7 minutes.

Combine 1 1/4 cup sugar and cream cheese until smooth.

Add eggs, one at a time, and then heavy cream and vanilla.

Pour into crust and bake 45 to 55 minutes

Then turn off your oven and let it sit for an hour.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Then refrigerate for 5 hours.
Top with Snickers, peanuts, and caramel.

*Jamie has a really informative vlog post about water baths that goes along with this cheesecake {here}. I will definitely be getting my hands on a roasting pan so I can do water baths for my future cheesecakes.

Yum, this looks absolutely decadent! I made my first cheesecake not too long ago, so maybe soon I'll feel adventurous enough to try this one. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
