Countdown to 2020: Best Crockpot Recipes

It's time to share the best recipes of 2019 to ring in the new year!

Another wonderful day full of the best best recipes of the year and today is one of the best days (do I say that every day? possibly!) because it is all about the crockpot and Instant Pot recipes. I've been eyeing Instant Pots lately, so maybe I will end up with one, but I couldn't live without my crockpot!

I think I am in the market for a new crockpot. I haven't used it as much lately and I notice some temperature fluctuations and some older recipes aren't working as well in it. I'm glad I got some of these recipes in before my crockpot started acting crazy, but I'm going to have to put in some research to find the right fit for me. I've had a Crockpot brand and a Hamilton Beach and I'm not really leaning more towards one or the other. If you have a good slow cooker, please let me know what your reliable cooking tool is!

  1. Crockpot Caramelized Pork and Ramen Soup - We've eaten a lot of ramen over the past two years. However, we've "churched" it up and add all sorts of fixings. This recipe starts out slow cooking the pork in a myriad of spices and then fixing the other parts later on. I particularly loved that radishes were included in the fixings part of the recipe. I feel like I haven't eaten radishes since I was a kid.
  2. Slow Cooker Parmesan Meat Sauce - I need to count how many sauce recipes are on my blog because I'm always trying a new one out. I really enjoyed this one. I also go super heavy on the Italian seasonings.
  3. Crispy Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas - I noticed pretty much all of the crockpot recipes I have in this round up are ones that start in the crockpot and then finish off out of the crockpot. This recipe is slow cooked in the crockpot and then you broil it so it's nice and crispy. I love carnitas!
  4. Salisbury Steak Meatballs - I think this is another recipe that I feel like I've made multiple recipes trying to find the right one. This is the right one. So yummy! I love that you can serve it over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
  5. Mexican Shredded Beef Enchiladas - This recipe has a kind of overwhelming amount of ingredients because you make the shredded beef and chipotle and ancho cocoa enchilada sauce. Yes...that enchilada sauce is for REAL! These are the only beef enchiladas I want.
  6. Mutti's Sauerbraten - And last but not least, this lovely German pot roast recipe. It's marinated before put in the crockpot, so it's so tender and flavorful. The sauce is wonderful too!

In case you missed it...
