Countdown to 2020: Best Main Dishes

It's time to share the best recipes of 2019 to ring in the new year!

This day of the Countdown is always the hardest for me because I primarily make main dish recipes. It's also one of my favorites because I can continue to hoard more main dish recipes when my blogging friends share their round ups of main dish recipes :)

I narrowed down my top ten main dishes but the ones that were my most most favorite are on my favorites lists. I try my best to get all my favorites across the board shared somewhere during the week. After all, it's the BEST recipes of 2019 :)

  1. Pork Schnitzel Sandwiches -  I cannot express how much I absolutely love this recipe. It's my favorite schnitzel recipe and then I adore the sriracha honey mustard and pickled shallots that pair with it. I would eat it literally every day.
  2. Cheesy Bruschetta Chicken - I have been really big on bruschetta and caprese lately and Nick has too, so we've been loving any dish that has tomatoes, cheese, and basil in it. I'm still not quite over my chicken aversion from my last pregnancy almost 5 years ago, so I don't get super excited about many chicken recipes. This is one I definitely get excited for.
  3. Pork Tenderloin with Shredded Brussels Sprouts - I'm trying to convince my family that brussels are delish and it's still taking some time. This pork tenderloin was so so tender and I loved the gravy sauce topping.
  4. Sausage, Brussels, and Parmesan Pasta - Again with trying to make the family love brussels. I think this one was a much better recipe since they were mixed in. Cami and I really liked it a whole lot. She's the only one I've gotten to really like brussels any.
  5. Hawaiian Steak Kabobs - We don't use our grill enough and I remedied that slightly by trying to make more kabobs. Just about everything else is too easy to make inside. These kabobs were killer!
  6. Taco Quesadillas - I loved the combination of two of my favorite (and in my opinion, the easiest) Mexican foods (well, Americanized Mexican food). Plus anything that I can throw salsa, pico de gallo, guacamole, etc. on is going to be one of my favorite foods.
  7. Sausage, Roasted Broccoli, & Lemon Penne Skillet - I feel like I didn't make a lot of lemon savory dishes and I don't know why. This pasta recipe reminded me how much I love lemon in savory dishes. The roasted broccoli was a bonus.
  8. Pizza Meatloaf - I attempted to make two different pizza meatloaf recipes with not much success. I finally was able to get something put together that was a winner for all of us. I want to say it made some favorites lists.
  9. Cilantro Lime Chicken Taco Salad -  I have found that I've also been very hooked on anything cilantro lime. I adore this salad and all its fixings.
  10. Copycat Big Mac - I'm honestly surprised there is only one copycat recipe on this list. I guess I haven't been making too many main dish copycats lately. This one is pretty self explanatory. It's a great recipe!

In case you missed it...
