Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese

Another great recipe! My husband turned me into a jalapeno popper monster. I've been trying as many jalapeno popper recipes as possible - we're trying a jalapeno popper burgers soon. These were so delicious. I didn't think a grilled cheese could be this good.

What you need:

  • Jalapeno peppers, cut in half and hollowed
  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Cream cheese
  • Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Directions:

Put the peppers, cut side down, on a baking sheet and broil for 8 to 14 minutes or until blackened.

Let cool a little and then pinch off the skins. They should be relatively easy to remove.
Butter outside of bread, spread cream cheese on one side of the bread and add cheese and peppers.

Cook in a skillet until browned on each side.
