Crockpot Beef & Peppers

I love a good sandwich recipe that you prepare the filling in a crockpot. I've also been getting a little more acquainted {and comfortable} with using beer in recipes. Now, while this recipe doesn't look like it's packing that much flavor, the few seasonings really stand out in taste!

(Printable Version)
Recipe from Beantown Baker

What you need:
  • 5 lb chuck roast
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. jar pepperoncini with juice
  • 12 oz. can beer
Directions:
  1. Place all ingredients in the crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Remove roast and shred with 2 forks.
  4. Put shredded roast back into crockpot, give it a good stir.
  5. Serve on dinner rolls!
