This recipe comes straight from Nikki of Chef in Training. I absolutely adore Nikki's blog - it's probably the very closest to my taste in food. There very rarely are recipes I don't want to make that Nikki posts and when I do find one, it's because I've just made the same type of recipe a few days before she has posted. I swear we share a brain or something :) Or maybe a stomach.

What you need:
Waffles:
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup butter, melted*
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 2 oz. cream cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
For the Waffles:
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well in it.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla.
Pour into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
Pour batter into a waffle iron in batches and cook until browned.
For the Cinnamon Topping:
Mix together all ingredients.
For the Cream Cheese Topping:
Heat butter and cream cheese in microwave for about 20 seconds. Mix together.
Then whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla.
Drizzle waffles with cinnamon topping and then cream cheese topping.
