Tasty Thursday #72: Crockpot Chicken & Stuffing

Photobucket

If y'all hadn't noticed...there is a little bit of new stuff going on here.

I redid a few buttons, added picture categories on the left sidebar there, added a couple of pages (that still aren't done), and moved things around a bit.

In addition to all of that, I will now combine my Thursday recipe with the link up - still not sure why I didn't do that in the first place *shrugs* A little blonde showing, I guess :) I upgraded to thumbnails too - so that's newish!

Now on to this recipe!
My mom makes a very similar recipe in the oven, but it has like celery and some other stuff in there. I failed miserably at making her recipe, so I wanted to try something as close as possible to it until I can have my mom correct my mistakes! I was very happy with this. It's another one of those meals that doesn't necessarily look that appetizing, but it's like Thanksgiving in a bowl...or on a plate. I'm positive this would be fantastic with turkey breasts!

(Print)
What you need:
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 oz. pkg. Stove Top (I used Savory Herbs)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup water
Directions:

Place chicken breasts in crockpot and cover with stuffing.

In a bowl, mix together sour cream, soup, and water.
Then pour over the top of the stuff in the crockpot.

Cook on LOW for 4 hours. Fluff, shred, and serve!
