Welcome back to Tasty Thursday!!
I think I have mentioned how I love sweets and how there are times I will go to my kitchen and furiously search for something I can make in a bind without having to leave my house. I was going to make funfetti cake batter dip again, but then I remembered that for some odd reason, funfetti cake mix has disappeared around here lately. So I thought to myself how I had seen a lot of cookie dough dip flying around the web - and lucky for me, I had the ingredients!
We ate ours with animal crackers and Teddy Grahams...and maybe just with a spoon :)
(Print)
What you need:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cups chocolate chips
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add sugar and mix until dissolved.
Let cool and then add in vanilla.
Mix together cream cheese and powdered sugar with a mixer.
Add in butter mixture - mix until combined. Then add in chocolate chips.
Add more chocolate chips on top to make it pretty.
Serve with fruit, graham crackers, cookies, pretzels, etc.
