Fantastical Friday: My Top 5 Need-to-Make Candy Recipes

Hello, friends! It is National Candy Day today and I thought I would share some of my more recent candy recipe discoveries in the pile of hoarded recipes I have sitting over on Pinterest. I love foodie holidays and they definitely inspire me to find some new things to make, so if you have a favorite candy recipe - leave me a link! I'd love to check it out :)

This Maple Nut Fudge from Mom on Timeout is a need-to-make recipe for me because Nick loves maple everything, but especially maple candy. // Pin it for later

I absolutely love Ferrero Rocher candies, as does Nick. I get them pretty much every Valentine's Day and then he always gives me a few from his stash. True love, folks, is sharing your hazelnut truffles! I would love to try this homemade Hazelnut Truffles recipe from Sprinkle Bakes. // Pin it for later

I have been getting salted caramel mocha lattes every time I go grocery shopping recently (until chestnut pralines start happening!), so this Salted Caramel Mocha Fudge from The First Year Blog looks DIVINE! // Pin it for later

It wouldn't be a dessert countdown without featuring a recipe from my go-to sweets blogger, Sally of Sally's Baking Addiction. My great aunt used to make caramels every winter and they are so much better than anything that can be purchased in the store. I think these Sea Salt Vanilla Caramels could be a good replacement! // Pin it for later

And last but not least, I love the idea of other favorite foods transformed into another...so these Root Beer Float Truffles from Shugary Sweets are just a win-win. Root beer float flavor in candy form - yes! // Pin it for later
