Today's theme is Most Popular/Reader Faves and I left that up for everyone to interpret if they wanted to do the most viewed, most commented on, etc. Usually I do the most viewed recipes that were published in the year, but I wanted to do the most viewed of 2017 out of all the recipes on the blog and I love the recipes that made it to the top ten list :)
- Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi Chicken and Steak with Veggies: Most of the recipes here have been made countless times, but this is one of my all-time favorites and love that it has been at the top of the list for so long.
- McDonald's Caramel Frappe Copycat: I was surprised to see this one make the list because most of the popular recipes are main dish recipes. I love love love caramel frappuccinos and this copycat recipe is easy and delicious.
- Copycat Popeye's Spicy Chicken: Another recipe that I make often and never get sick of is spicy fried chicken that tastes just like Popeye's!
- One Pot Spaghetti: This recipe used to stand in the number one place and I believe still sits at number one for views period. It's a great recipe for busy nights for fewer dirty dishes. Fewer dirty dishes is always a good thing.
- Easy Addictive Corn: I am stunned that this side dish made the list at all. I do think it deserves it, no doubt in my mind, but I didn't think it would be attractive to others that they would want to check it out.
- Nachos Bell Grande: I crave this recipe all the time and it tastes just like the real thing but you get a whole baking sheet of it - which is just the best thing to ever happen.
- Sweet & Salty Frito Snack Mix: This recipe is actually posted on a blog I contribute to, Knoxville Moms Blog, but the pic alone got a lot of hits this year. It's my favorite snack mix.
- Man Dip: A classic old, old, old recipe that I finally got around to remaking to get a new picture because this always seems to make the most popular list :) It's got sausage, cheese, and jalapenos and is so hearty!
- Jalapeno Popper Turkey Chili: I have made this chili for countless potluck meals and chili cookoffs when Nick was active duty. I always got such huge compliments on it and I always left with an empty pot.
- Copycat Wendy's Spicy Chicken Filet Sandwich: Another copycat spicy chicken recipe that my family loves so much. A totally different recipe than the Popeye's too, so you definitely need both.
In case you missed it, here's more of the best of 2017!
