Cheesecake Nutella Twists

Nutella Cheesecake Twists | Cream cheese and #Nutella in a crescent drizzled with chocolate |

I just joined the world of double boiler users. I don't have any clear glass bowls and melting chocolates (without the addition of butter and sugar) was becoming extremely frustrating. I have to say it's been one of the most frustrating things about not having a microwave. I'm also not sure why it took me a year to get a double boiler, but I can't wait to test it out.

Most likely the very first recipe I'll use to test out my brand-spankin' new double boiler is this yummy breakfast twist recipe that uses none other than NUTELLA!! Mine don't look quite like Jocelyn's, but the great thing about this recipe is that it doesn't haven't to look pretty to be delicious. I do suppose having the chocolate drizzle on top would make it so much prettier :)

What you need:
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1 pkg. cream cheese, at room temp
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips, melted (I skipped this)
Mix together cream cheese, egg, and sugar.
Roll out your crescent rolls and separate into 8 rectangles all together.

Spread 1 Tbsp. of cream cheese mixture and 1 Tbsp. Nutella onto each rectangle.

Fold in half and press seams together. Twist and place on baking sheet.

Bake at 375* for 10 to 11 minutes until golden brown.
Drizzle with melted chocolate chips.
