Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies
(
Printable Version)
What you need:
- 1 box Betty Crocker Original Supreme brownies (must be this kind!) - the box calls for vegetable oil and 2 eggs, so make sure you have both of those
- 1 pkg. Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie mix - the pkg. calls for 1/2 cup of butter (make sure you get stick butter!!) and 2 eggs
- 1 can Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy milk chocolate frosting
Directions:
**I made a double batch and had two different boxes of brownies and I didn't have stick butter. So mine don't look how they normally should when I was making them. They still turned out alright. But to make them the best they could be make sure you use the Original Supreme and stick butter in the cookie mix.**
| Mix brownies according to package in a bowl. |
| In another bowl, mix the cookie dough together. |
**I find that a whisk works best with the brownies and a big spoon works with the cookie dough.**
| In a greased 9x13x2" pan, pour the brownie batter in and smooth out with a spatula. |
| Then by the tablespoon, drop cookie dough in the brownie batter. **Your cookie dough should be a light brown, not this weird color - lol** |
| Afterwords, take a spoon and slightly press down the cookies into the brownie batter. **Excuse my sloppiness** |
| Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick or fork comes out clean. Let cool. |
| After it is cooled completely, add the icing to the top. It's suggested to cut it 8 rows by 6 rows. |
And enjoy! Something this good should be a sin! It's a big hit with the soldiers in my husband's company! :)
