Olive Garden Breadsticks {Copycat}

Olive Garden Breadsticks {Copycat} - make your own never-ending basket at home #recipe #bread

Unless you are living under a rock, I'm sure you've been to Olive Garden and had a basket of never-ending, deliciously divine breadsticks. I personally am not a huge fan of Olive Garden, but I love their breadsticks. I would totally go just to eat them. I tried my hand at a copycat recipe before, but it failed miserably. I was weary to try another one and was terrified of disappointment, but thankfully this recipe is spot on and absolutely fabulous!

(Print)
What you need:
Dough:
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 1/4 tsp. yeast
  • 4 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
Topping:
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
Directions:
  1. Proof yeast in warm water.
  2. Mix together bread flour, butter, sugar, and salt with yeast.
  3. Knead for 5 minutes and then cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Roll into breadsticks and put on a parchment lined baking sheet. Let rise 45 minutes.
  5. Bake at 400* for 12 to 15 minutes.
  6. Mix together topping ingredients and brush breadsticks with mixture. Let cool.
