Philly Cheesesteak Pizza

Philly Cheesesteak Pizza - delicious steak, sauteed veggies, and ooey gooey Provolone take this pizza to the next level #pizza #Phillycheesesteak

I'm sure y'all are sick of Philly Cheesesteak recipes by now, but for some reason, I have a never-ending supply of different variations :) Every other Friday or so, my family eats pizza. I make homemade crust and it's always something different for toppings. I made this twice in two weeks. In my house, that is literally unheard of. Since I started hoarding recipes, we hardly eat the same recipe twice in a year - and that really is not exaggerating. Unless it's a family favorite - there are other recipes I want to try before I remake recipes. Our friends came over the second time we had them and they loved this pizza. It's definitely one of my top 3 favorite pizzas of all-time :)

What you need:
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, divided
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • 1 to 2 tsp. corn meal
  • Sirloin steak, cut in strips
  • A1 sauce
  • Provolone cheese
Melt 1 Tbsp. butter over medium high heat.
Cook green bell and onion for 8 to 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle corn meal on pizza pan. Roll out pizza dough and place on pan.
Poke holes in dough with fork. Bake at 450* for 8 to 10 minutes.
Heat remaining tablespoon of butter in pan on medium high heat.
Saute steak for 3 to 4 minutes and salt and pepper to taste.

Top cooked pizza crust with A1 sauce. Then top with veggies, steak, and cheese.

Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until cheese has melted and crust is golden.
